A Chartered Accountant, he has led global teams supporting financial institutions across the US, UK, Nordics, India, Singapore, and the Middle East.

He brings deep experience across M&A and debt capital markets, delivering pitchbooks, IMs, valuation models, and market intelligence across key sectors. His work with senior stakeholders includes governance leadership and structured sessions to shape deal narratives and drive execution.

At Avernys, he leads client relationships, partner oversight, and quality control—ensuring audit-ready outputs, robust assumptions, and clear decision-making.

Ankur Seth

Ankur is the Co-Founder & Partner at Avernys Advisors, with 18+ years of experience across strategy, commercial due diligence, and investor-focused advisory.

He brings a strong investor mindset, helping clients translate market insights into actionable deal strategies.

Ankur’s expertise spans sector / M&A scans, market sizing (TAM / SAM), competitive intelligence, and investor materials including pitchbooks, CIMs, and portfolio dashboards. At Avernys, he leads diligence design and go-to-market intelligence, developing investor-ready insights that support decision-making across the deal lifecycle.

He holds an MBA in Finance from IBS, Hyderabad and Bachelors of Economics from Delhi University with prior roles at Acuity Analytics, Bain & Company, and D.E. Shaw.

Aditya Yadav

Aditya has two decades of experience in cross-border M&A advisory spanning buy-side, sell-side, and strategic partnership transactions, across private and public (India and UK ListCo) deal arenas.

He has led billion-dollar transactions with an aggregate EV of $15B+, spanning cross-border acquisitions, divestments, minority investments, JVs, and multi-country restructurings.

To Avernys, Aditya brings senior-level judgment on transaction structuring, execution, and negotiation - strengthening the firm's capabilities on complex, cross-border M&A mandates. His experience spans hospitality, telecom, digital infrastructure, financial services, energy, and technology across EMEA, India, and the UK.

He holds an MBA in Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Mathematics degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and has held senior M&A roles at OYO, Bharti, IGT Solutions, SCB, and Avendus.

Sorabh Agarwal

Sorabh is the Co-Founder of AngelBay, a sector-agnostic angel network with investments in 90+ startups across fintech, shared economy, travel, media, consumer, and deep tech and contributing as Board Advisor to Avernys Advisors.

He has 25+ years of experience across M&A and corporate development, spanning bulge bracket financial institutions, corporate advisory, and early-stage investing. He brings a strategic perspective to Avernys - drawing on his expertise in financial research, deal advisory, and investor-facing analysis to inform the firm's thinking on select engagements.

As AngelBay, he has also advised mid-sized firms on M&A, strategy, and fundraising, and has earlier worked with Crisil and Tata Group companies.

An MBA in Finance & Strategy from IIM Calcutta and a BE from MNIT Allahabad, he spent over a decade at Acuity Analytics, where he was instrumental in scaling the business from 20 to 2,500 employees.
